• Wednesday—Finishing (technical elements, tactical cues, finishing vs. shooting and finishing games)

• Thursday—Heading (secrets of safe heading, attacking and defending headers and heading games)

 

 
 

Targeted Training

 
 

• Attacking—individual and group attacking skills, numbers up and down situations, transition,
mobility, disguise, attacking re-starts, beating the offside traps, connect the thirds through
smooth ball circulation, advantages and disadvantages of formations, attacking games

• Defending—individual and group defending, numbers up and down situations, transition,
defending re-starts, pulling the offside trap, connect the thirds through zonal defending, zonal
vs. man marking, advantages and disadvantages of formations, defending games

• Fitness—increasing agility, flexibility and core strength, dynamic vs. static stretching, soccer
specific exercises and games with soccer ball, introduction to various fitness tests

 

 
  Goal Keeper Training Camp  
 

Basic technique of shot stopping and ball distribution, key technical points and tactical cues, post to post movements, angle play, coming off the line, dealing with crosses and break aways, defending re-starts, directing traffic in the defensive third and initiating counter attack, goal keeping games.
